About Dennis

Meet Dennis, an active and cheeky young lad with a big personality! While he's full of energy and loves to show off his playful side, Dennis can also be a bit anxious and easily overwhelmed at times, seeking reassurance from those around him - with sudden fast movements, overhead motions, and too much close handling making him feel uneasy, so he'll do best in a calm, patient environment.

Dennis would thrive in a home with teens or calm, older children. When it comes to other dogs, Dennis must meet them at the time of adoptions, as he can be a bit aroused initially but settles into play once he's comfortable.

He is looking for an owner who is dedicated to providing him with plenty of quality time, attention, and training to help set him up for success in the home and beyond. He enjoys gentle affection but can get jumpy when feeling worried, so he'll need a family who understands his sensitivities. A structured home with both indoor and outdoor access, where he can be included in family life, would be ideal for Dennis.
