About Patrick

Patrick is a handsome, smart and delightfully goofy boy who is finally ready to trade shelter life for a comfy couch and a family to call his own!

This lovable larrikin arrived at the RSPCA with a seriously broken leg that required orthopaedic surgery. Since then, he's been following strict doctor's orders, enduring an extended recovery, and perfecting the art of looking extremely hard done by. The good news? Patrick has recovered well and is ready to leave his medical saga behind.

Patrick's favourite things include:

• Being with his humans
• Playing with his toys
• Napping in the sunshine
• Checking what his humans are eating
• Convincing his humans that their lunch is actually our lunch

After spending so much time on restricted rest, Patrick may get a little overexcited and temporarily believe he's a Formula 1 race car and complete laps of zoomies around the office. Thankfully, he's a clever boy who genuinely wants to please. With gentle guidance and clear boundaries, he settles nicely and gets right back to being the sweet, affectionate companion we know and love.

Patrick would thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not initially, helping him settle into his new routine. Patrick has previously lived with cats, but is not suited to a home with small pets like birds and pocket pets. Patrick will make a wonderful family companion, but is better suited to older kids due to his boisterous nature and how big this boy is.

If you're looking for a loyal sidekick, a professional snack inspector, and a handsome goofball who has overcome a lot and is ready for his happily-ever-after, Patrick might just be your perfect match.
