About Heidi
QUIET HOUSEHOLD – NO or ADULT CHILDREN – ONGOING SOCIALISATION ESSENTIAL
Heidi arrived as a stray young dog who was very, very scared. She will require a very quiet household prepared to be patient with her as she will take time to feel confident in any new surroundings. Expert hands are what are needed to help Heidi adjust.
Heidi is a sweet but timid pup who takes her confidence from other dogs. Heidi will need a person who is going to be incredibly patient, and kind, to build and nurture trust with her. Once Heidi has developed trust in her person, she will give you plenty of love back. She is wary of strangers and particularly men. Heidi has learnt to sit and walks ok on the lead. But she will definitely need gentle socialisation and then good basic training and ongoing work for her recall and other basic commands. Heidi travels well in the car, loves water, and enjoys playing with other dogs with similar play styles. Heidi is still learning what it means to be playful around people. She suffers with some separation anxiety when on her own, but settles well when her person or other confident dogs are around. She will make a great second dog.
The adoption fee for HEIDI is $395.00. which helps to cover the cost of mandatory de-sexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew. Who says you can't buy love?
