Meet Loki 🐾❤️

Loki is a Shepherd cross Golden Retriever who sadly hasn’t had a lot of consistency in his life. Now he’s looking for a home that can give him the stability, guidance and commitment he deserves.

Loki is a very social boy who loves people and wants to spend as much time with his humans as possible. He’s a smart dog who just wants to please, and with the right guidance and consistency, he has so much potential to shine. ❤️

Loki needs more than just a quick walk around the block — he needs exercise for both his body and his brain to help him feel happy and fulfilled. We think he could be a wonderful match for someone who works from home or an active family who enjoys getting out and about and is willing to include him in their daily adventures.

Loki would also love a family with older children to call his own, especially those who would enjoy spending time playing with him and being part of his adventures. 🥰

Loki can sometimes find people leaving a little difficult, but the good news is that he does settle once you’ve left. With patience, consistency and a predictable routine, he can continue building confidence and learning that it’s okay to have some time on his own.

Loki would be best suited to a home where he is the only dog, allowing his family to focus on his individual needs and give him the time, attention and consistency he deserves.

He is learning to walk in a head collar, which has definitely helped make walks more manageable. Continued training and positive guidance will help him keep progressing.

Loki is looking for a home with plenty of space to stretch his legs, ideally a large, secure yard or even a rural property. He would not be suited to apartment living, as he needs room to move and an active lifestyle.

One important thing to know about Loki is that he loves chasing bunnies! 🐰 For this reason, he would not be suitable for a home with cats.

Loki has so much to give. He just needs someone willing to invest time in him, provide clear and consistent guidance, and help him become the best version of himself.
