Hi hi hi! My name is Sandy and I'm on the lookout for my new family, will it be with you?

I'm a 7 year old Mini Fox Terrier x that is fortunate enough to have gone into an amazing foster home while I await my next family. I would thrive in a home with an experienced owner who can handle my personality traits and quirks as well as manage my behaviours. I will need to be exercised in quiet areas away from other dogs, as he I am not suited for dog parks or crowded places where there are lots of other dogs around. In my own home I have shown I can live with another small breed dog if it is not to boisterous and playful, however I would need to meet any future canine companions before going home. My breed is generally quiet active but as I am now a 7 year old gentleman, a sniffy walk a day will be just fine for me! Long, slow walks in quiet areas, playtime in a yard, and engaging in mentally stimulating activities like puzzle toys can help fulfill my exercise needs and keep my doggy brain nice and stimulated. I also enjoy lounging around in the sun in the yard too to catch some rays. Another one of my favourite things to do is playing chase with a ball! I would love to play this game with you! I really enjoy the company of people and tend to follow my foster carer around the house everywhere they go!

During my time in foster care, I have shown to not necessarily enjoy being left alone at home. I would really love an owner or family where there is someone home more often than not who are willing to work on building up my alone time through positive training so that I don't stress so much about being left alone at home. I really am a people dog you see!
