About Dusty

Hi there!

My name is Dusty. I am currently in an amazing foster family and they have helped me gain my confidence and love of life. I am really a big sweetie who would love a family to finally call my own, and once I get to know you I am a great buddy. My favourite thing to do is chill in the backyard following the sun! Just give me a big snuggle bed and I am set. I don't need much entertainment, I'm happy just being where you are. My foster dad says that I am such a good boy being able to be outside on my own when the family is inside doing stuff. When I do come inside I am pretty chilled and am on my best behaviour.

When introduced to a new environment, I can be a bit unsure of new things and would thrive in a calm household where I can really settle into my new home without too much hustle and bustle. I am happiest hanging out with my humans and if you have other family members please bring them in to meet me. I have been so good around my foster Mum & Dads grandchildren, although they do keep an eye on the little people as they can be unpredictable.

I would love to go home with someone who has experience with dogs and understand when I might be feeling a bit overwhelmed giving me the opportunity to provide a safe place. I am a younger playful pup and love playing with both humans and some dogs. I must be the only dog in the home though as I just don't know when to stop playing sometimes which can be a lot for other dogs! I am a bit too playful for animals like cats and rabbits - please no pocket pets! My favourite thing to do is go walking, I like to be active as this helps my lil brain and body to settle, so I would like an active home where I am taken out and give exercise, don't get me wrong I like a back yard with a comfy bed but I am a friendly dude that needs to know what's going on in the neighborhood.

I would love to meet everyone in the family before I move in just to make sure we all get along. Just like you need to know my personality, I would like to get to know yours! I would prefer to go home with a family or someone home more often than not When you make an enquiry about me my fab Hooman friends at the RSPCA will tell you so many awesome things about me - I'm sure my foster family will tell you some good stories too!

Oh and one more thing! I would love access to inside and outside your home so I can spend time with my family, don't get me wrong I do enjoy 'me time'! I'm currently in foster care, and would like to meet you.
