About Woopi aka Wuppy
Hello there lovely human! My name in Woopi and I'm a senior Border Collie cross who is 9 years +. I'm a highly intelligent boy who comes with a great deal of previous learning experience, I know how to 'Sit', 'Lay Down', 'Shake' 'Spin' & 'Roll over'. Roll over is sometime difficult with my arthritis but I've been known to do this at the shelter for very special treats. But I promise you I am an extremely 'Good Boy' and love to show off all my tricks.
When I arrived at the RSPCA my lovely coat was matted and required some clipping. In order to keep my long double coat looking nice and beautiful it requires brushing once or twice a week, but during shedding season, daily brushing is required. I'd love a secure yard with Indoor and outdoor access. If you have kids or another dog in your household they will need to come and meet me coz it's important we all get along! Bring the whole family to the meet and greet and make a day of it, it'll be some much fun meeting everyone! Being that I am an elderly gentlemen I'd prefer a home with a relaxed environment with children under 6 years old as I am currently experiencing arthritic changes. In order to adopt me you will need to speak with a vet to ensure you understand my medical needs. I'm also a bit of a "Chunky Monkey" due to my hypothyroidism and currently on a special diet to lose some weight. I'm currently being fed a diet of Royal Canine Satiety (Weight Management) food to help me lose some of my love handles LOL
So, if there is room in your heart and house for a dog like me, for the rest of my life, come and have a chat to the staff about adopting me! I can't wait to find my furever home! Love Woopi xXx
