About Wicket
Hey there friends my names Wicket and I'm a Scruffy little mate looking for my new forever home!
I'm a fuzzy little man who hasn't had the best start to life but it's now my time to get into a home that can help teach me what life should be like. I will need a family who can understand that I still don't always know what to expect from people and I don't always love being touched and cuddled. I prefer my people around but I'm happiest sharing a room with them and coming to say hello when I'm ready.
I would prefer a home with a quiet and predictable routine so that I can learn to feel secure and know how my new world works. I do really enjoy interacting with other dogs and having another canine friend in the home could be really helpful in me learning some new skills. It's not a must though and I could still do great with some trusted people who are willing to guide my way.
I am looking for a peaceful and nurturing environment where I can feel safe and loved. My ideal family would have experience with dogs and understand the importance of ongoing training to help me reach my full potential. Since I'm still young and lively, I would benefit from a home where someone is often present to keep me company and continue teaching me new things.
Access to both indoor and outdoor spaces would be wonderful as I love to explore and enjoy fresh air. A secure yard or safe outdoor area would be ideal for me.
I thrive on mental stimulation and learning, so I'm looking for a family committed to ongoing training and providing me with plenty of activities to keep me engaged.
I do best in a calm and quiet household where I can relax and feel secure, surrounded by love and patience.
If you feel we could be the right match, I would love to meet everyone in the home to ensure we are all comfortable interacting with each other as I am still timid/nervous around people so its best we meet!
