Hi there, I’m Sweet Pea, and I’ve been waiting for over 250 days to find my forever home. When I first came to the shelter, I’ll admit, life was pretty overwhelming. New places and unfamiliar faces are tough for a nervous girl like me. I felt scared and unsure of everything, and it showed in my behavior.

Thankfully, the kind staff here noticed I needed a little extra support, and with some gentle care—and a bit of behavioral medication to help ease my nerves—I slowly started coming out of my shell. Now, I’ve built strong bonds with the people who have cared for me, and I’ve even discovered my playful and loving side.

Finally, I’m ready to take the next step: finding a home where I can truly thrive.

I’ll be honest: I’m not a "one-size-fits-all" kind of kitty. I need a special family who understands feline behavior and is patient with me as I settle in. A quiet, peaceful home is my dream—one without children or too much activity. I need someone who can offer me the space and understanding to feel safe.
