Hi there! My name is Pebbles - I'm a 1 year old Pug looking for my next chapter in life, will it be with you?

I'm a nervous gal that is looking for a family that will be patient with me and takes things slowly, at my own pace as I take time to warm up to people. I would love to be able to meet the whole family before I go home with you just so we are all on the same page and are comfortable with each other. It also allows us to understand how to interact with each other and set up realistic expectations. I enjoy pats and love on my own terms, especially whilst I get to know you! For this reason, it is best I go to a home with children 12 years and up as sometimes younger children don't always understand that despite how cute I am, I also enjoy my own space and need some time to warm up to people. I hope you understand!

I really enjoy the company of other dogs and have been fortunate enough to go to a loving foster home with other dogs which has helped me come out of my shell a little bit. I would be best suited to a calmer dog, similar to my size. If you have another fur baby at home, the staff here at the RSPCA will organise a play date for us to ensure we will get along pawfectly. I would also enjoy indoor access majority of the time as the outside world is quite scary to me and I'm still building up my confidence to be okay. I enjoy slow walks at my own pace in quiet areas but otherwise I enjoy being indoors doing my own thing where my safe space is.
