About Ben
Hey there, folks! The name's Ben, and I'm here to tell you a bit about myself.
First things first, I'm a big, handsome ginger and white boy with a heart of gold. But, I've had a few health issues during my time in care that I want to fill you in on.
You see, I've been diagnosed with otitis externa, which is just a fancy way of saying I've got an ear infection. It's nothing too serious, but it does require some attention and care to keep me feeling my best.
On top of that, I've had some dental issues and needed a bit of dental care with extractions. But don't worry, I'm all healed up now! However, it's important to keep me on a high-quality diet to ensure my teeth stay nice and healthy.
Now, let's talk about this pesky blocked tear duct of mine. Yep, you heard that right—I've got a blocked tear duct. Basically, it means that the tears and normal ocular discharge from my eyes don't drain properly, so they end up creating a constant ocular discharge. It's a bit annoying, but it's nothing I can't handle.
This condition is pretty common in kittens and cats who've had herpesvirus infections, which can lead to narrowing or scarring of the tear duct. But don't worry, you'll have a free vet consult upon adoption to chat with the vet about any questions or concerns you might have regarding my tear duct issue.
Despite all of this, I'm a sweet, affectionate guy who's just looking for a loving home to call my own. I promise to fill your days with purrs, cuddles, and endless love. So, what do you say? Are you ready to welcome a big-hearted ginger like me into your life? Let's make some memories together!
