About Tikki

Hi!, thanks for stopping by. I’m Tikki and I’m a brave young staffy pup ready to take on my next adventure. I came here at no fault of my own, I have had a rough start to my life but was lucky enough to be scooped up into a foster care home to start learning what the world has to offer me. I’m a shy girl who as I said came from some rough beginnings but I have a great big personality that will shine right through once I’m comfortable with the right people. I can be nervous when I meet new people but I am very confident with other dogs, I might even prefer them over people. I would love to go home with another dog as they tend to make me feel more comfortable as they can guide me and show me how to be a real dog. I will need someone who is experienced in doggy body language and can tell when I'm not so comfortable in certain situations. Someone who understands my quirks and needs along with lots of patience will be essential for me to settle into my new home. I am quite an independent pup who likes to be interacted with on my own terms. I'll let you know when I want a pat!. I am extremely food motivated and that’s usually the way to my heart. I enjoy my quiet time and will benefit from my own little safe haven in the home that I can go to when life gets a little overwhelming for me, that would be perfect. Additionally, a quiet/calm household is something I would benefit from. Besides the mentioned above, I am still your typical staffy who likes to play and get big bursts of energy and can sometimes be a little boisterous, I hope you don’t mind!
