About Magenta

Hi there! My name is Magenta, and I’m a sweet Rottweiler looking for my forever home.

I can be a little shy and nervous when meeting new people, but once I get to know you and see that you have some tasty treats, I’ll warm right up! I’m currently in foster care where I’m getting lots of TLC away from the busy shelter, and I’m really starting to feel more comfortable. Because I can be a bit timid at first, I’ll need an experienced owner who understands my needs.

I’d do best in a home with children over 15 who can give me the space and patience I need to settle in. I also need to be the only dog in the household – I prefer to be the center of attention and can be a little nervous around other dogs. I love having access to both indoors and outdoors, so a yard would be wonderful, but I’m also happy to spend time indoors with you.

It’s important that you’re able to meet with all members of your family before we go home together, just to make sure everyone feels comfortable. I’m just looking for a kind and patient family who will take care of me and help me build confidence. Could you be the one to give me my forever home?
