Hi there my name is Athos and I am a big handsome man with a heart of gold that is now searching for that very special forever home.

I will require a family that has experience with my breed or has done research into my needs and behaviours. I will also need outdoor access in my new home as I have not been exposed to the world of indoors and will need time to learn that this is a safe place for me, with time and patience I would love to be able to share the couch with you. I will need my new family to be home more often than not especially while I settle in, a safe and secure yard is a must for me as well. I love people and will need a home where I will be able to be a vital member of the family.

I will need to meet all family prior to adoption especially any children as I am a large boy and can get excited so we need to make sure they are comfortable and confident around me and that I am comfortable with them as well. I came into to care with multiple other dogs and have been going on social walks everyday with other dogs. I gain a lot from the social support from other dogs and will need to go to a home with another dog that is social and playful.

My requirements:

-Must meet all family - No children under 12

-Must have canine companion - Breed Savvy home (knowledge of breed needs)

-Owner home more often - Outdoor access
