About Sammy

Hi there, my name is Sammy! I’m a 4-year-old Persian Himalayan with a heart full of love, just waiting for my perfect forever home. Life hasn’t always been easy for me—I have a few medical challenges, but that hasn’t stopped me from being the sweetest boy.

I am a palliative care case due to a lifelong, irreversible medical condition, but I hope this doesn’t change anything for my future family. If you’d like to learn more about my health, you can read all about it in my waivers. You may also notice that I only have one eye—this is because I had to have the other removed due to a past injury. But don’t worry, I’ve adjusted just fine!

Because of my special needs, I’m looking for a peaceful and quiet home, without young children under 12. My new family will need to understand cat behaviour and have experience caring for a Persian cat like me. My coat is beautiful, but it does require regular maintenance to keep me looking and feeling my best!

I also need to be the only cat in the household, but that just means I get to soak up all your love and attention. If you think you’re the right family for me and would like to learn more about my medical needs, please speak to a reception staff member. I can’t wait to meet you!
