About Medusa

Hi there! I’m Medusa, a spirited 1 year old Staffy cross with a lot of love to give.

My journey has been filled with fun experiences, but I’ve learned that I really prefer the company of my humans. I don’t enjoy being left alone for long periods, so my ideal home would have someone around most of the time. I would love owners who are willing to work with me on positive reinforcement training to help me feel more comfortable when they need to step out and understand the importance of gradually building my confidence so I can learn to enjoy my own company.

I’ve had the pleasure of living with four other dogs, and I’ve done well meeting new furry friends, but I prefer calm interactions. Busy parks can be a bit overwhelming for me, so it’s best if my new dog pals are laid back and have a similar temperament to mine. When meeting other dogs, I appreciate a gentle approach rather than a frontal one, as it helps me feel more at ease.

I also enjoy interacting with kids, but I do best with dog savvy children who understand the importance of giving me space and options to move away if I feel startled during play time. I handled the introduction with kids well, so I know I can thrive in a home with the right little humans.

Having both indoor and outdoor access is important for me as I’m much happier when I can explore an outdoor space and then enjoy a cozy indoor space with my humans. With a little patience and understanding, I’m excited to continue growing and learning. I can't wait to find a loving home where I can feel safe, secure, and showered with affection!
