About Baxter

Hi, I'm Baxter! I'm a mixed breed, and I'm looking for my forever home. I may take a little time to warm up, but once I do, you'll see what a sweet and loyal companion I am.

I enjoy my quiet moments and need a family who understands that sometimes I need to take a break from all the excitement. Because of this, I'd be best suited for a household with dog savvy kids who can respect my need for personal space when I ask for it.

I’d really love to have someone home more often than not, or someone who can gradually help me get used to being alone for short periods. It helps me feel more at ease knowing that I’m not left alone for too long.

I also really like to meet new dog friends before committing to any kind of full-time companionship, so a meet-and-greet with other dogs is needed.
