Hi, I'm Harper – A Fun and Loving 6-Year-Old Kelpie!

I’m a playful and happy 6-year-old Kelpie who’s full of excitement and love. Even though I’m six, I still have plenty of energy and love to do my little “tippy-tappy” foot dance when I’m excited or ready to play. I love meeting new people and am always happy to say hello with a wagging tail!

I can get a little over-excited, especially when it comes to pats or playtime. I sometimes jump up or get a bit too excited, and I think it might be a little much for really young kids. I’d do best in a home with children who are older and can handle my enthusiasm as I may accidentally knock the little ones over.

I’m still figuring out how I feel around other dogs. I can get fixated at times, and I whine a little. I didn’t get aggressive, though, and I think I just need some time and slow introductions. If you have any dogs at home I’d love to meet them, bring them down so we can have a match up to make sure I’m comfortable with my new canine friends.

I’d do really well in a home where I have access to both indoor and outdoor spaces. I’m an active dog who loves having room to roam, but I also enjoy having options of quiet spots inside and outside to chill out when I need some downtime.

I’m a loving and spunky dog who’s just looking for someone to share my energy and affection with! I may be a little cautious in new situations, but once I trust you, I’m all in. If you’re looking for a dog who’s playful and sweet, I might be the perfect match for you.
