About Zeus

Hello, my name's Zeus, an Australian Kelpie with a heart as big as my namesake! I'm 3 years young and full of life. I'm looking for a home where I can be your sole canine companion, as I prefer the spotlight all to myself.

I’m a clever boy, so I would thrive in a home where my new family can continue my training and mental stimulation. I am a very active boy and will need an owner that is aware of the energy a working breed has and can help me find appropriate outlets for my energy. It would be great if you've had some experience with dogs before because I do require a bit of management.

I am a bit nervous at times and need a family that can give me some gentle encouragement when things get a bit tough. Due to this I would prefer to be in a quieter home with older, savvy kids (aged 12+) who understand my needs.

Requirements:

• Must meet all family
• Must be only animal
• Children over 12
• Solid fencing
• Breed savvy home (active home)

Zeus is a sweet little boy that has a heart of gold. If you think that your home is perfect for him, then come on down to the Hunter shelter and the staff can arrange a meet and greet.
