About Maine

Hello there… my name is Maine. I’m a delicate little lady with the softest silver agouti fur, big, watchful eyes, and a quiet heart that just needs time to feel safe.

You see, I can be a bit shy at first—new things and sudden movements make me want to hide away. But if you’re patient with me, and especially if you come bearing my favorite snacks, I’ll slowly start to trust you. Once I feel comfortable, I might even let you see my happy little binkies when I think no one is watching. 

I‘d really like a bunny friend and to be with my own kind as rabbits are a social species. But I’d need a slow, careful introduction, with lots of time to learn that I’m safe. With the right companion, I think I could be very happy. 

I prefer to keep my paws on the ground and don’t really like being picked up, so I wouldn’t be the best match for a home with young children under six. But for someone who understands that love doesn’t always mean cuddles, I will be a quiet, sweet companion. 

I may not be the boldest or bravest bunny, but I have so much love to give in my own way. If you have the patience to let me bloom, I know I’ll make a wonderful addition to your home. Could you be my perfect match?

Adoption fee: $75 which includes = desex, vaccination, microchip with flea and worming treatment started.
