About Hazelnut

Hi, I’m Hazelnut! I’m a 5-month-old Domestic Shorthair, and I’ve been through quite a journey. When I first came into the shelter, I was really scared and didn’t trust humans at all. But with time and patience, I’ve learned that people can be kind and I can trust them. I’m still a little shy, though, and I’ll need a calm, quiet home where I can continue to feel safe.

My new family will need to be patient and understanding as I settle in. A slow and calm introduction to my new home is essential. I can be a little noise sensitive, so I’d do best in an adult-only household where things are a bit quieter. If you’re someone who knows how to respect cat boundaries and understands cat body language, I think we’ll get along just fine.

Once I feel safe and secure, I’ll be a sweet and loving companion. I just need the time to trust you fully. If you think you can give me that, I’d love to find my forever home with you!
