About Wren
Why hello there! My name is Wren and its wonderful to meet you! Let me tell you a little bit about myself to see if I may be the pupper for you!
I am a super sweet, silly girl who is looking for a fun loving family that can play with me. I'm not too good with my manners just yet, so I'm looking for a family that can take me to puppy pre-school so I can learn some tricks and cues. This is also a great way to help me learn to socialise nicely with humans and other puppies. I may be small now, but I won’t be for very long, so I'm looking for a family that is ready to take on big dog responsibilities. Being a puppy, I will need lots of things to help keep my mentally stimulated such as toys, enrichment feeds (kongs, slow feeders, puzzle feeders etc).
One thing you need to know about me is that I'm currently being treated for skin infection caused by a superficial fungal infection known commonly as Ringworm. This is a common problem in young, immune-compromise and older animals. I am currently on a treatment plan that is very important that I continue this plan once I am in my new home.
Ringworm is contagious to other animals and humans, so while I am receiving treatment, it’s best that I don’t go to a home with existing animals, young children and/or immune compromised people. If you do have another furry friend at home, it’s best that I have a separate set up to them so them and don’t have any interaction with them until I am fully recovered to reduce transmission. One of our friendly vets can speak to you more about how to best manage this treatment from home and answer any further questions you may have.
This definitely doesn’t mean that I can be supplied lots of love and attention from my family while I’m receiving treatment, I’m just needing a family who is understanding, patient and willing to put in a little extra effort! I can promise you I am definitely worth it! This also means we have extra time to do some training with me at home to learn some tricks and cues before I can start my puppy pre-school journey!
So what do you think? Do you have space in your heart and home for a little pup that’s needing a little TLC? Then let’s get our forever started today!
