Hi there, I'm JD! I'm a one-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a new place to call home.

I can be a bit shy at first, however once I have learnt to trust my family through kindness and love, my personality shines! I would love a cozy, fluffy bed indoor close to my loved ones and a grassed yard to investigate and work off some of my energy zooming around.

I'm a social butterfly when it comes to other dogs, so if you have a well socialised canine friend at home, that's great! I'm a highly inquisitive boy, with a drive to chase, which means I won't be able to share a household with small creatures.

I'm still a young pup, so I need daily opportunities to learn about life and the world around me. I would love to have someone who's got the patience and time to help me grow and learn new things at my own pace.

I'm looking for a home where the environment is quiet and calm. I love my playtime, but I also need my downtime. If you work average work hours, that's perfect for me as I enjoy having a routine to follow. I'm best suited for a family with kids aged 12 years and above. Someone who can understand my needs, give me company on adventures and understand when I need some time to myself.
