About Wilson

Hey there, I’m Wilson! I’m an older gentleman with a big heart, and I’ve got a lot of love to give.

I recently had a leg amputated, so I’m looking for a kind owner who can help me adjust to life with three legs. It might take me a little longer to get around, but with the right care, I know I’ll do great!

I have shown that I get along with calm dogs in the shelter so I’d love to meet any potential doggy friends first. Since I’m a bit older and still getting used to my new way of moving, I’d do best with a chill friend who won’t overwhelm me with too much energy.

I’d be happiest in a home with calm kids who understand that I need a little space sometimes and won't be keen on lots of playtime! Little ones who want to give me lots of hugs will be a bit too much for me.

Requirements:

• Must meet all dogs
• Must meet all children
• No apartments (unless ground floor with outdoor access)
• Experienced owner
• Quiet/calm household preferred
