Hi, I’m Peony 🌸

1 year old | Domestic Short Hair | Gentle Soul, Quiet Heart

I’m a soft-pawed girl with a curious heart and a gentle spirit. At just one year old, I’m still figuring out the world—and I’d love a calm, understanding home to help me truly blossom.

I’m not the kind of cat who rushes into new situations or demands attention right away. I take my time, watch the world from a safe perch, and warm up slowly. But once I feel safe? That’s when you’ll see the real me—purring softly, blinking slowly, maybe even curling up next to you for a quiet nap.

Because I can find new environments a little overwhelming, I’m currently on medication to help me feel more comfortable as I settle in. One of our lovely vets will chat with you before I go home, to explain everything and make sure you feel confident supporting me.

I feel safest when I have options, so I really appreciate having multiple cozy hiding spots around the house—places where I can retreat, recharge, and peek out when I’m ready. These little safe zones help me build confidence at my own pace.

I’d do best in a peaceful home without small children (under 6 can be a bit much for me right now). I’m hoping for someone who understands cat body language and is happy to go slow and steady, letting our bond grow naturally. If you’re patient, kind, and have a few quiet corners to share, I think we might be perfect for each other. Let’s grow together
