About Frankie
This gorgeous soul is Frankie, she is a Stockhorse cross mare; she is 14.3hh and we understand approximately 15 years old.
Frankie has very quirky markings on her body that once you see what we see, you cannot unsee! On her near side, look closely, you will see a little persons head with a bob cut, long lashes blowing a bubble gum bubble....on her offside you will see a little hedgehog looking at the moon! :)
Frankie has been in RSPCA care for the last 6 months; where she has been recovering from a serious leg wound. We are delighted to say, that she has made a remarkable recovery and is now ready to move onto the next chapter of her story.
Since Frankie has been in care, she has had intensive wound care of which she coped with very well. She is up to date with trimming, vaccinations, drenching and dental care.
She is happy to be paddocked alone or with others. Whilst in foster care, she has been exposed to farm vehicles, dogs, sheep, cattle, goats and chickens with no fuss at all.
Frankie is easy to handle, groom, rug, trim, float and tie. She may need some sunscreen applied to her leg scar if it does not fully recover with hair. She is very easy to have sunscreen applied.
Frankie has some conformational defects in one of her hind pasterns and one of her front knees - for this we advise and recommend that she is suitable as a companion only.
Should you wish to meet Frankie, please get in touch with the team at the Spreyton Animal Care Centre. A property inspection may be required as part of adoption application process.
