Meet Delta - A Gentle Soul Ready to Bloom

Delta is a shy, sweet young Shar Pei with a heart full of love and a gentle nature. She's a little bashful in new environments and may take time to come out of her shell, but with patience and kindness, she blossoms into a cuddly, affectionate companion. Her foster family describes her as incredibly friendly and gentle with children, toilet trained, and easy to walk-though she's still learning to feel confident on the lead. Delta enjoys playtime when she has a buddy to engage with, but she's just as happy to curl up beside you and relax. Delta would benefit if her new owner is home more often than not as she will vocalise when left alone.

She's a big fan of tasty treats-especially meaty snacks, chicken, and anything lickable like enrichment pastes. While kibble is fine, she truly lights up when given fun enrichment activities like wobblers and egg cartons. Delta knows how to sit and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training to build her confidence and manners.

Delta may do well with a calm, social dog who can help guide her and encourage her during walks. A meet-and-greet is essential to ensure both dogs are comfortable. She's best suited to a calm household with older children or parents who can provide clear boundaries and space when she needs it. Her ideal family will be patient, understanding, and committed to helping her grow at her own pace.
