About Rambo

Hi there my name is Markl and I'm a Central Bearded Dragon! You would usually see my species in central areas of Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Northern Territory. We love to scurry around, soak up the rays on warm rocks and climb onto tree trunks.

I enjoy sunbaking and my favourite activity being a solar panel. I can be a bit wiggly when first held, it takes me a bit to settle in your warm hands. Don't let my occasional side-eye dissuade you, I am a very happy chap who just enjoys judging you through the glass - haha!

Before I came to RSPCA I had a bit of my tail amputated, but that doesn't affect my life!

I'm an omnivorous lizard, which means I require a wide range of vegetables and insects to help me stay healthy. I love to hang out on my raised log to bask on. I also require a UV light, heat lamp, water bowl and a hide if I need a getaway.
