About Pacific

Hi my name is Pacific and I'm probably the largest Blue Tongue Lizard you've ever seen. I look similar to the wild lizards that run around in your back yard, all over the east coast of Australia.

I'm a very big lizard so can be a bit apprehensive when first picked up, but I do settle in your hands. Due to improper diet before coming to RSPCA, I ended up losing the tips of most of my toes as I was too big to shed properly. Everything is healed and it doesn't affect me now - yippee!

I am omnivorous, so I like a varied diet eating vegetables, crickets and woodies to keep me healthy and ensure I don't gain any more weight.

I require a few things in my new home that are important to keep me happy. These include a UV light, heat lamp, hides, water bowl and an enclosure big enough for me to stretch out.
