About Buddy

Meet Buddy - a tender, soulful boy with the kindest eyes and a heart full of quiet love. He's a gentle spirit, shy in unfamiliar places, but oh-so-deeply loving once he feels safe. What brings Buddy the greatest comfort and confidence is the presence of his lifelong best friend, Maisy. They've grown up together, side by side, sharing every moment. He would be over the moon to go home with Maisy, however is also open to a home with another social doggy companion.

Buddy will flourish in a calm, patient home-one where someone is often nearby to reassure him, especially during those first few days. While he might not be immediately drawn to treats or toys, once his heart begins to feel safe, he's been known to break into joyful games of tug with his favorite rope toy.

If Maisy can't be by his side, Buddy would do best with another kindhearted, confident dog who can help him feel brave in the big, wide world. He would prefer older, gentle children may also be a good match.

Buddy is a quiet, loving soul searching for a place where he can exhale and truly belong. He can't wait to meet his new family!
