Hi there! My name is Lucy, and I'm a sweet, but a little timid, Jack Russell Terrier.

At first, I might be a bit shy, but once I warm up to you, you’ll see just how affectionate and loving I can be! I thrive on attention and enjoy spending time with my humans. I’m happiest when I have the chance to build trust, so please be patient with me as I get to know you. I do best as the only dog in the home—this way, I can have all your love and attention to myself!

I would love to meet any children in the household before joining your family, just so I can get a sense of how I feel about their interactions with me. This is important to ensure I’m comfortable and happy with everyone around me. I may take some time to adjust, but once I get to know them, I promise I’ll be a sweet companion!

As a Jack Russell, I’ve got plenty of energy and love to keep my mind and body busy once I'm comfortable and settled into my new home - a good walk, a game of fetch, or even just some time to run around in the yard. I also enjoy puzzle toys and other mental challenges to keep my sharp mind entertained. I’ll need a home that can keep up with my playful and energetic nature, and in return, I’ll offer you endless love and loyalty. If you’re looking for a dog to share both quiet moments and active adventures with, I think we could be a great match!
