I greet each day with a wag and a soft, searching gaze, as if I'm already learning your rhythm and your stories. I'm not a showstopper, but I am reliably kind—ready to listen, ready to curl up for a quiet moment, and ready to grow alongside someone who believes in small, steady steps. If you want a companion who brings calm and a willingness to learn, I might be the one you've been hoping for. I'm a thoughtful soul with a moderate pace. New surroundings may take me a moment, and I respond best to patience and encouragement as I discover the world. I thrive on daily opportunities to learn about life—whether it's meeting other dogs, exploring a safe space, or simply practicing how to settle in after a busy day. I like indoors when left alone, and I do have a history of digging, so a yard with secure footing helps me feel safe. I can be selective around other dogs and I don’t have any known issues with other pets. That combination points to the kind of home I’d flourish in: a quiet, calm household with a moderate energy level, where the day eases from an afternoon nap into gentle play. A family or person who will give me time to settle in, and daily chances to learn and practice new things, would be my idea of home. I don’t have known child-related issues, so if there are kids in the house, I’d be content with a patient routine and kind guidance. I would prefer to avoid busy off-leash dog parks.
