About Rodney

Hi, I'm Rodney. I'm a male dog, a senior with a sharp mind and a big heart. I still love daily learning and new little challenges—puzzles, short training tricks, sniffy walks. A steady routine keeps me happy, so I hope for a home where someone works average hours and is around most days. I appreciate calm companionship and clear boundaries. I'm thoughtful and loyal. I enjoy gentle strolls, soft pets, and quiet cuddles after a good brain teaser. I am selective about dog friends, especially in off-leash parks; I do best with careful introductions in safe spaces. If you have other animals, I’ve shared spaces with them before and there’s no known history of issues. I bring steady patience and a love of life’s daily lessons. My ideal family would provide daily opportunities to learn—no matter your age—and celebrate small wins together. If you’re ready for a devoted, trainable buddy who values routine and thoughtful play, I’m your boy. Please consider giving this older gentleman a peaceful, loving home.
