Hi, I’m Boots (with the furrrr)

I’m a 13-year-old Border Terrier looking for a comfy place to call home. I’m a pretty relaxed guy these days and enjoy taking life at my own pace, especially when it comes to my favourite pastime: wandering around and having a good sniff. There’s just so much to discover out there!

I do enjoy my walks, but I’m not in a rush. I’m much more about stopping, sniffing, and soaking everything in than racing from A to B. If you’re someone who appreciates the little things, I think we’ll get along just fine.

Now, let’s talk about one of my greatest loves… food. I love my meals and treats, and I’m always happy to remind you when it’s time to eat.

I can still have a bit of a playful side at times, but these days I much prefer calmer canine friends who match my slower pace. I’m a bit past the high-energy play scene, so gentle, easygoing dog companions suit me best.

At home, I like things calm, comfortable, and predictable. I also really enjoy staying close to my person and spending time simply lounging around nearby. I’m just as happy relaxing at your feet as I am exploring the garden for interesting smells. I’m not always in the mood for lots of touching or fuss. Because of this, I’d do best in a household where all children are 15 years or older and understand when I need a bit of “me time.”
